Apply for 2025 Bloomington Digital Opportunity Grant program
To address the challenges of the digital divide, the City has established a digital grants fund to support local nonprofits in their efforts to support digital initiatives. ITS anticipates inventive proposals that build capacity in the community to address digital opportunity challenges.

Application
Be prepared to upload the following documents:
- Grant budget detailing the use of City funds
- Audit or year-end financial statement
- Cost quotes on hardware, software, or other items showing budget research
- Secretary of State Certification
- Memorandum of Understanding between parties (if this is a collaborative project)

Application Follow-Up
- The Digital Opportunity Grant Panel reviews applications and makes recommendations
- ITS staff follows up with applicants to determine interest in award amount
- ITS staff follows up with applicants who were not recommended for funding to share committee feedback
- If the award amount is different from the amount requested, applicants will need to supply an adjusted budget matching the funding amount.
- If the applicant is receiving funds for the first time, new vendor forms are required.

Grantees are sent agreement documentation
Once signed, routed, and approved grantees receive payment.
