Apply for Low Income Solar Eligibility program

Thank you for your interest in the Solar Grants for Income-Qualified Homeowners program, administered by the City of Bloomington Department of Economic and Sustainable Development. This form's purpose is to determine your eligibility to receive a free solar installation. Please note that completion of this initial intake form is not a guarantee that you will be approved for participation in the solar grant program. Eligibility check submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. If the number of submissions exceeds the number of grants available, participation will be prioritized based on responses provided.
 

Upon submission of this eligibility form, you will receive a confirmation email from civiform-noreply@bloomington.in.gov. If your eligibility is confirmed, you will be sent a link to the second step: the official application for the Solar Grants for Income-Qualified Homeowners program on the CiviForm platform. The official application includes additional questions about your home's energy use and justification for the application, which will be used to make a final determination regarding your acceptance into the solar grant program. Please remember to save the login information you used to enter the current eligibility form for the official application.
