Apply for Water Assistance Program program

Active City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) customers may be eligible for assistance with water bills. Within any 5 month period, CBU can pay for the first 2 months.

How to apply

  1. Eligibility Requirements

    Have you already applied for the current SCCAP Energy Assistance Program? You must do so before applying for the water assistance program as that is how eligibility is determined. Even if you do not qualify for Energy Assistance, you may still qualify for CBU's program because the eligibility requirements are not identical.

  2. Status of CBU Account

    The City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) account must be 2 months behind and up for disconnect (but not yet disconnected) before we can assist.
